We may have had a kiwi come second in Idol but we won the league and though I neither know nor care about anything to do with league, our unexpected victory certainly left a glow on my kiwi heart. Do you know the Brits didn't book any finals accomodation for the kiwis? Only for themselves and for Oz. Boo yar sucks!

Take comfort that the winners never seem to do that well afterwards - talent will win out!! Just look at Ricki Lee!! Oh, sorry, bad example ;-)
